KNOW YOUR HONEY

Local Honey from our local CBA beekeepers.

***Caprock Beekeepers Association is a Non-profit organization that does not receive any proceeds from sales through the local honey pages on the CBA website.

Our goal is to provide a resource for the public to find local honey from our CBA members with local hives on the Caprock.***

What the Research Says About Honey (Courtesy Mayo Clinic)
Heart Health: Antioxidants in honey may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Cough Relief: Certain types (eucalyptus, citrus, labiatae) can suppress coughs, especially at night.
Digestive Aid: May help with diarrhea from gastroenteritis and support oral rehydration.
Neurological Benefits: Potential antidepressant, anticonvulsant, anti-anxiety, and memory-protective effects.
Wound Healing: Medical-grade honey promotes healing, especially in burn care.

Check out our CBA Certified program!
The CBA Certified* Program, available to CBA members with permanent hives in an 80-mile radius of the Lubbock City Hall at 1625 13th St. Lubbock, TX 79401 (LBK Hub City) is a voluntary initiative that allows Caprock Local beekeepers to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the CBA Certified* Standard by verifying their honey sourcing practices directly.

KNOW YOUR BEEKEEPER.
KNOW YOUR HONEY.

If LOCAL honey is imporant to you,
there are three important questions to ask the seller:

ARE YOU THE BEEKEEPER?
WHERE ARE YOUR BEES/HIVES LOCATED?
WHAT FLOWERS ARE THE BEES POLLINATING?
