Hive cutout from an old wagon!

Apiaries of the Sun
Apiaries of the sun, when the sun comes out, that is when the honey is spun.
A thousand bees take off, then a thousand more, wave after wave to make their gold.
The sunlight glistens, the sweet flowers glow, moving with the wind, watch those honeybees go.
Hives in the meadows, hives in the fields, apple blossoms, and dandelions.
Nectar and pollen, someone's prized rose, gardens planted, those bees are not alone,
Honeysuckle and lavender, flowers of the cacti, those apiaries do flow.
Cotton and sunflowers, the sweetest taste making a hive full for the winter.
There, the sun lasts all year, feeding on that liquid, capped, and stored.
Then, when the moon starts to rise, and sun slips away, the bees fly home.
As sunlight fades, the apiaries are full, still standing, still waiting, for winter’s cold.
